Description: A low-growing evergreen perennial with glossy, deep bronze to chocolate-brown foliage forming a dense spreading mat. Short spikes of rich blue-purple flowers appear in spring, rising above the foliage to create contrast and seasonal interest.

Garden Impact: Ideal for ground cover, shaded borders, woodland gardens and underplanting where it quickly fills gaps and suppresses weeds. Its dark foliage provides strong contrast against lighter plants and works well in both formal and naturalistic planting schemes.

Light & Water Requirements: Thrives in partial shade to full shade in moist, well-drained soil and spreads well in suitable conditions.
